Layla Boyd

I am an Illustrator concentrating on the grotesque and beautiful, and all that lies in between. If you like Francis Bacon, Hollyoaks and the 80s then you should like my work. I spend a large amount of time sitting and drawing in front of The Jeremy Kyle Show, living on a diet consisting mainly of Dime bars, Lucozade and any other snacks that are vivid orange in colour.

 

I studied at Central St.Martins and University College Falmouth, which has lead me to a passion for drawing drunk art students and exploring the transition from composure to gruesome exposure.
